Durham man held on $10 million bond after trafficking, kidnapping arrest

A Durham man faces charges of human trafficking and kidnapping and $10 million bond in connection to a long-running investigation by the Durham Police Department Special Victims Unit.

Chester Wallace, 60, was arrested this week. Police did not release additional details about the case.

His alleged victims – all adult females – are getting assistance, police said. None of them were identified, and it is not clear where they are from.
