Man arrested after Carjacking, armed robbery leads to police chase in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department is investigating a carjacking and armed robbery along Capital Boulevard Saturday that led to a crash.

Police said shots were fired at a BP on Capital Boulevard which led to a pursuit between the suspect and officers.

Police said the suspect crashed not far away on Springhouse Lane. The suspect has been taken into custody.

There have been no injuries reported stemming from the incident.
