Shawn Mendes is putting his world tour on hold, which means his show in Raleigh is postponed.
On July 8, Mendes announced on Instagram he is taking some time to focus on his mental health. He said the toll of being on the road has caught up to him and he has hit a breaking point.
“This breaks my heart to have to say this, but unfortunately I’m going to have to postpone the next three weeks of shows through Unacsville, CT until further notice,” Mendes said in the Instagram post. “After speaking with my team and health professionals, I need to take some time to heal and take care of myself and my mental health, first and foremost.”
Mendes’ concert on July 23 at PNC Arena is among a dozen shows that are postponed indefinitely. It also includes his July 22 show at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
